IBM Works With InnoPath on FOTA Solution

Firmware Over-the-Air to be Integrated With IBM WebSphere

InnoPath Software, Inc. (formerly DoOnGo Technologies), has joined IBM’s PartnerWorld Industry Networks for Telecommunications to deliver targeted mobile solutions. Working with IBM, InnoPath will integrate its end-to-end device management solution, DeltaUpgrade Plus, onto the IBM WebSphere platform.

DeltaUpgrade Plus is a complete, end-to-end solution for firmware and software management, providing the flexibility to manage updates over-the-air, via direct cable connection, or on removable memory cards, according to InnoPath. The two companies plan to co-sell and co-market the solution to wireless operators and handset manufacturers worldwide.

San Jose, CA-based InnoPath’s DeltaUpgrade Plus device management solution keeps handset firmware current and functional by making it easy for wireless operators and handset manufacturers to update handsets whether they are in the factory, retail store, or the hands of subscribers, according to InnoPath.
