Aldon Releases Plug-Ins for IBM WebSphere Development Studio Client

Provides Access to all Enterprise Change Management Functionality

Aldon, provider of enterprise software configuration and change management solutions,  announced Aldon Lifecycle Manager plug-in support for IBM Rational Application Developer 6.0 and WebSphere  Development Studio client (WDSc) for iSeries 6.0. The Aldon Lifecycle Manager plug-ins are free to all Aldon customers and provide access to all the enterprise change management functionality of Aldon solutions while facilitating the development of IBMWebSphere 6.0 applications.

Aldon's plug-in architecture provides the full power and functionality of the Rational Application Developer environment, as designed by IBM. All of the objects managed through Aldon can be shared by all members of a development team and be treated as a single unit in any change management operation. While simple for any level of user, Aldon Lifecycle Manager handles the behind the scenes complex operations of safety, security, multiple user coordination and versioning. As each function is performed, Aldon Lifecycle Manager automatically performs the necessary underlying actions.

With the Aldon plug-ins, developers can use the development environment with which they are the most familiar. The Aldon plug-ins support:
  • Native source comparison
  • Team synchronization view
  • Any resource view such as Remote Systems Explorer or Java Package Explorer
  • Any IDE perspective such as Java or C++
The Aldon Suite provides IT business process automation, requirements management, distribution and deployment, and multiple version management to companies worldwide.
