Bob Steinkrauss Joins Whaleback Managed Services' Board of Directors

Industry Veteran Executive to Serve as Chairman of the Audit Committee

PORTSMOUTH, NH -- (Marketwire) -- 06/19/12 -- Whaleback Managed Services, the leader in managed unified communications services, today announced that Bob Steinkrauss has joined its board of directors as an Independent Board Director, and as Chairman of the Audit Committee. In this role, Steinkrauss will leverage his 30 years of telecom, enterprise and security industry experience to advise Whaleback throughout its next phase of growth as well as oversee Whaleback's audit and control functions.

Steinkrauss brings more than 30 years of executive experience to his role as Board Director, Chairman of the Audit Committee at Whaleback. He consults a number of security-focused companies, most recently serving on the board of Q1 Labs which was acquired by IBM. Steinkrauss was previously on the board of GeoTrust, acquired by Verisign, and was the chairman, president and CEO of Chosen Security, Inc., which he sold to PGP. Prior to Chosen Security, Steinkrauss served as president, chairman and CEO of Ingrian Networks, Inc., which was subsequently acquired by Safenet. He has also held various executive positions including chairman of the board of Authentica, sold to EMC, president and CEO of Xedia Corporation which he sold to Lucent, and chairman, president and CEO of Raptor Systems (RAPT) which merged with Axent Technologies and was sold to Symantec. Ernst & Young has recognized Steinkrauss twice as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist. He holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Boston College.
