SUNNYVALE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 07/25/12 -- Allied Digital, a global IT service and solutions provider with more than 148 offices across the world and headquartered in Mumbai has partnered with Zyrion Inc., a leading provider of Cloud and IT Monitoring software solutions for their global managed services offering. This partnership allows Allied Digital to offer advanced, next generation remote managed services to their customers by leveraging Zyrion's highly scalable and distributed Traverse software solution for MSPs.

Allied Digital offers its customers reduced operating expenditures, enhanced security and streamlined operations by leveraging cloud based technologies and on the ground resources. The company's core focus is on Infrastructure-as-a-Service, including application hosting, data center optimization and management, end-user support and lifecycle services.

As Allied Digital grew its global RIMM footprint and added large enterprise customers in Australia, Europe & USA besides India, it quickly outgrew its existing legacy monitoring products. After an extensive search for a product which could offer enterprise features and scale to handle their current and projected growth, they selected Zyrion's Traverse as their core platform.

"We find Zyrion's focus on the service impact of IT infrastructure using their Service Containers to be a major factor in offering higher value to our customers," said Sanjiv Patki, Global Vice President Managed Services and COO at Allied Digital. "We are able to reduce the mean time to recover for Business Services by adopting this ITIL approach for our critical customers which includes financial and other global corporations," he added.

"We are happy that our solution allowed Allied Digital to deliver higher quality services and customer satisfaction," said Vikas Aggarwal, CEO of Zyrion Inc. "By moving all their customers from multiple, disparate monitoring products to a single platform, they are able to leverage our cutting edge features such as predictive analytics and use auto remediation to drive down operational costs across their entire customer base."

The Jevons Paradox suggests that when technological advances increase efficiency of a resource, it results in an overall increase in consumption. Writing on the increased use of coal as a result of technological improvements, 19th-century economist William Stanley Jevons found that these improvements led to the development of new ways to utilize coal.
