Research and Markets: Global Telecom Network Outsourcing Market 2011-2015: In Countries Such As China and India, the Operators Are Increasingly Looking For Network Outsourcing Partners

Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/vb2qr3/global_telecom) has announced the addition of the "Global Telecom Network Outsourcing Market 2011-2015" report to their offering.

TechNavio's analysts forecast the Global Telecom Network Outsourcing market to grow at a CAGR of 6.07 percent over the period 2011-2015. One of the key factors contributing to this market growth is the need to reduce operational expenses.

Key vendors dominating this market space include IBM Corp., Hewlett-Packard (HP) Co., Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson, and Nokia Siemens Networks B.V.

Other vendors mentioned in the report: Alcatel Lucent, Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Juniper Networks Inc., Motorola Inc., Nortel Networks Corp., Tellabs Inc., and UTStarcom Inc.

Commenting on the report, an analyst from TechNavio's Telecom team said: ''In the last five years, many telecom operators have signed contracts and agreements with service providers to outsource their telecom networks. This shows their interest and trust level in the outsourced services and industry partners. Western Europe is the key region for the development of network outsourcing activities. This is because the region is near its saturation level in terms of traditional communication offerings, and thus the operators require help to move to the next level. In addition, as the fixed-line broadband demand from consumers increases in India, the demand for managed services also increases.''

According to the report, telecom network outsourcing proves to be cost-effective as the companies do not have to hire new employees or resources for setting up the new telecom infrastructure. This not only saves time and money for the operators, but it also enables them to access the expertise, knowledge and experience of the partnered company. For this, the operators carry out due diligence about the service vendors and their mutual gains. Additionally, by outsourcing telecom networks, the operators reduce their redundancy costs and produce high economies of scale for both clients and service providers. Moreover, as the ARPU is declining, operators are streamlining their operations and cost structure by outsourcing less-important activities and activities that add less value.
