LAS VEGAS, Nov. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB) and Computer Guidance Corporation, the leading developer of financial and project management software solutions for architecture, engineering and construction companies, announced today interoperable solutions that seamlessly work together for the capture, processing and reporting of heavy equipment utilization, maintenance and accounting.
The announcement was made at Trimble Dimensions 2012.
Computer Guidance Corporation and Trimble have partnered to deliver―eCMS Connect for VisionLink―to provide contractors real-time equipment information in eCMS enterprise resource planning for further processing and reporting. As a result of the integration, eCMS Equipment Accounting and Equipment Maintenance applications are automatically updated on a scheduled basis with the information from VisionLink, giving contractors access to accurate and real-time asset management data, automated usage-based billing, advanced reporting and precise forecasting.
eCMS Connect is an extension application for Computer Guidance's eCMS Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution which provides connectivity for third-party application data and business process information into the eCMS database via Web services.
