Bivio Networks, a leading provider of systems for securing, monitoring and controlling critical network infrastructure, today announced the appointment of Leila Bristow as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Bristow has served as Bivio’s Director of U.S. Federal Accounts since February 2011 and will continue to be a key strategist and business driver of the organization with responsibility for worldwide revenue and sales growth.
Bristow brings a strong background in technology and networking security business development with a track record of elevating the company’s revenue base in the global cyber intelligence markets, ranging from government organizations, service providers and enterprise businesses to network equipment manufacturers and system integrators.
Prior to joining Bivio, Bristow served in business development and sales strategist roles overseeing sales, corporate strategy, communications and marketing with key companies, including IBM, Siemens, America Fujikura, NetForensics and Silanis Technologies. During her tenure with Vtel and Forgent Networks, she led business development during its transition from hardware to software manufacturing.
Bristow earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hollins University, attended the University of London, holds a Master in Business Administration from The College of William & Mary and attended the Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School.
“Leila’s broad sales expertise has proven to be a key asset as we work to deliver innovative cyber security solutions to our customers,” said Dr. Elan Amir, Bivio President and CEO. “I am so pleased with her contributions to the company and look forward to her continued leadership.”
Bristow’s appointment follows the completion of the sale by Bivio of its NetFalcon and NCCS product lines to ISC8, Inc. as it realigns its operations to focus on providing its DPI Application Platform to enable global customers to proactively control, monitor and secure critical network infrastructure in real-time.
“Bivio has always had an unwavering commitment to deliver leading cyber security and network systems and support for government organizations, service providers and enterprises worldwide,” continues Amir. “Now, more than ever, we remain focused on helping our customers solve their cyber security challenges.”
