CYA Solutions Group of enChoice today announced that its CYA HOTBackup™ solution will now be resold through the EMC Direct Sales and EMC Channel Partner networks worldwide utilizing the EMC Select Program. CYA HOTBackup enhances interoperability between EMC Documentum® and existing enterprise-wide backup systems by automating hot, consistent backups of the Documentum Platform.
“Our global customers require high availability of their Documentum systems, and with CYA HOTBackup, we solve a need for our valued customers,” said Chris McLaughlin, VP channel sales and alliances, IIG Division, EMC Corporation. “We are pleased to be working with the CYA Solutions Group to ensure that our customers are fully protected and continue to reap the full benefits of their ECM investments.”
CYA HOTBackup™ enables EMC customers to eliminate planned Documentum downtime by performing consistent, automated hot backups of the entire Documentum platform, which are then automatically stored within enterprise system backup applications. Other backup strategies may require Documentum to be taken offline to ensure consistent backup. CYA HOTBackup enables companies to achieve high availability, ensuring integrity of the repository and with no loss of end user productivity.
“CYA HOTBackup is unique because it enables EMC Documentum customers to eliminate planned downtime and meet stringent service levels while ensuring the repository integrity during the recovery process,” said Wayne Crandall, president of enChoice. “We’re looking forward to working with the EMC sales team to offer this compelling solution to Documentum customers worldwide.”
CYA HOTBackup is available for Documentum 6.x, and is designed to work with existing enterprise backup and recovery systems including EMC NetWorker, Symantec NetBackup and IBM Tivoli Storage Manager. Go to www.cya.com or contact email@example.com for more information.
