The Legalities of E-Signatures in Insurance – A Resource Guide

At Silanis, we often work with legal counsel to keep up-to-date on new case law and other resources relating to e-signatures in the insurance industry. In fact, we try to connect our customers and friends with those same resources so that we can help carriers feel reassured that electronic signatures are in fact quite legal. Below, I’ve shared links to posts that go into the legal aspects of e-signatures in insurance in the hopes that these resources will help in your exploration of the legalities of e-signatures in insurance.

If you’re more of a hands-on researcher, Silanis and IBM are hosting two upcoming Insurance Forums: one in Columbus on November 1 and one in Boston on November 13. These events are complimentary so if you’re going to be in the area, please register and stop in for a half-day session that will include the legal aspects of e-signatures.
