CanAm Announces Appointment of Jos De Smedt as Chief Executive Officer

CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/30/12 -- CanAm Coal Corp. (TSX VENTURE:COE)(OTCQX:COECF) ("CanAm" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Jos De Smedt as Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Jos replaces Tim Bergen who, as announced in October, took the decision to step down as CEO in order to assume the role of Vice Chairman of the Board responsible for business development. Jos' appointment to President and Chief Executive Officer is effective immediately.
