Computer Guidance Corporation, the leading developer of construction financial and project management software solutions for architecture, engineering and construction companies, today announced that GE Johnson Construction Company has successfully implemented the end-to-end integration of Computer Guidance’s eCMS v.4.0 Enterprise Resource Planning and Textura Corporation’s Textura―CPM solutions.
The integrated product of eCMS v.4.0 and Textura―CPM delivers end-to-end, fully automated capabilities to manage construction invoicing, compliance, payment, subcontract and change order processes. A long-standing Computer Guidance customer, GE Johnson Construction Company will benefit from the integrated solution by reducing double entries into two standalone systems and eliminating errors and lost time associated with manual data entry. In addition, they will improve financial controls through better visibility of project billing and payment processes.
“The tightly integrated construction payment management solution that Textura brings to the eCMS ERP extends the value of our technology investments,” stated Tony Craig, Controller, GE Johnson Construction Company. “The integration has improved our workflows, including our ACH payment processing. Our accounting staff has also seen significant productivity gains and improved efficiencies as a result of the seamless integration.”
“The integration of Textura―CPM with eCMS v.4.0 has been a true collaborative effort between the two companies. Computer Guidance delivering an API for eCMS to allow our Textura―CPM product to effectively transport payment files has brought additional value to the integration effort,” stated Bill Eichhorn, EVP of Marketing, Textura Corporation. “We look forward to our continued collaboration with the Computer Guidance team as we introduce the next phase of our integration effort that will leverage Web Services and SOA technologies.”
“Computer Guidance and Textura Corporation have engaged in a strategic partnership in early 2012 and we are pleased with the speed at which we are introducing these integrated solutions,” stated Roger D. Kirk, Chief Executive Officer, Computer Guidance Corporation. “Our collaborative efforts will continue to deliver end-to-end construction accounting and payment management solutions to our valued customers, bringing them additional value for their investment in our technologies.”
