MOBILE, Ala., Dec. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- James M. Lyons, President and Chief Executive Officer of The SSI Group, Inc. (SSI), announced today that Brian Campbell and Tom Myers have accepted the positions of Senior Vice President of Sales and Chief Strategy Officer respectively. Both Campbell and Myers will maintain their executive roles with MedWorth, a wholly-owned SSI subsidiary. Campbell currently serves as the Director of Business Development for MedWorth and Myers serves as the company's Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
Campbell joined MedWorth in 2011 with more than 10 years of experience in operations and corporate sales and marketing within the healthcare industry. He previously held senior sales and leadership positions with Bristol-Myers Squibb, Biogen Idec and GlaxoSmithKline. Campbell earned a bachelor's degree in engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and a master's degree in business administration from the Manderson Graduate School of Business, University of Alabama. Campbell serves on the Board of Trustees for the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association, Annapolis, Md. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Victory Health Partners and the Arthritis Foundation, Gulf Coast Chapter in Mobile, Ala.
Prior to joining MedWorth in 2008, Myers worked at IBM's Business Consulting Services practice. There, he specialized in strategy consulting across a wide variety of industries including healthcare, consumer electronics, IT products and services, telecommunications and facilities services. Myers earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Ga., and holds two patents in telecommunications system design.
