EL SEGUNDO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/21/12 -- Stamps.com® (NASDAQ: STMP), the leading provider of USPS postage online and shipping software to over 400,000 customers, today announced its inclusion in Software Magazine's ranking of the world's 500 largest software and service providers.
Stamps.com earned the recognition through its track record of robust revenue growth including total fiscal 2011 revenues of $101.6 million, an increase of 19% versus fiscal 2010. The overall growth rate for the 500 recognized businesses was up 17% from the prior year. Businesses featured in Software Magazine's ranking include IBM, Microsoft, HP, Oracle, Accenture, EMC and SAP.

Now in its 30th year, the 2012 Software 500 is an annual, revenue-based ranking of the world's largest software and services companies targeting medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers and business managers involved in software and services purchasing. The ranking is based on total worldwide software and services revenue for 2011. The financial information was gathered by a survey prepared by Rockport Custom Publishing, LLC. and posted at www.softwaremag.com, as well as from public documents.
