HAVANT, United Kingdom, Jan. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Xyratex Ltd (NASDAQ: XRTX), a leading provider of data storage technology, today announced Avid® as a new customer for the Xyratex OneStor® storage solution. Avid combines the OneStor hardware foundation with industry-leading Avid ISIS® software to deliver its high density data storage solution for media enterprises. The ISIS 2000 enables cost effective near line storage for accessing and managing media beyond active production.
Avid ISIS 2000is a cost-effective near-line storage solution that works with Avid Interplay® to provide enterprise-wide search, browse, access, and management of media that expands media access and augments real-time production.
