Trusteer Expands Enterprise Team With Introduction of Jim Hyman as Vice President of Enterprise Sales

Deep International and Channel Sales Experience Will Drive Trusteer's Growth in the Global Enterprise Security Market

BOSTON, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/14/13 -- Trusteer, the leading provider of endpoint cybercrime prevention today announced the appointment of Jim Hyman as Vice President of Enterprise Sales. Mr. Hyman brings over 20 years of enterprise security sales experience and a deep background in the international security market. This appointment will drive the expansion of Trusteer's business and technology to focus on the prevention of advanced malware attacks on enterprises and their employees.

"Large global companies are constantly at risk of cyber attacks and recognize that current malware protection technologies, like anti-virus, are simply not effective. They are looking for solutions that strengthen their defenses against advanced malware attacks while ensuring a balance of security, usability and manageability," said Rakesh Loonkar, Trusteer President. "Jim has demonstrated success and his keen sense in growing a business' sales pipeline will enhance our ability to demonstrate how our innovative, proven malware prevention capabilities are superior to any existing solutions in the market."

Hyman comes to Trusteer from Zscaler where he was the Vice President of North America Sales, responsible for identifying and assessing customer needs and opportunities in the cloud security and security as a service (SaaS) industry. Prior to Zscaler, Hyman spent over five years with IronPort Systems (acquired by Cisco Systems) as the Vice President of Western Sales and U.S. Channels. At IronPort, Hyman established and grew a channel sales infrastructure and organization that helped build IronPort's leadership in the email security market. Hyman also held positions at Ensim Corporation, Digital Ventures and IBM. Additionally, Hyman has been recognized by VAR Business as a "Top 100 Channel Executive."

"Advanced malware attacks are getting more sophisticated, especially as the workforce becomes more mobile and hence more vulnerable," said Hyman. "Trusteer is creating a lot of buzz in the security market by making a huge investment in the next generation advanced malware protection solutions. Trusteer's solutions focus on prevention of exploitation and compromise of employee endpoints while minimizing management complexity and end-user disruption. This balanced approach is what made Trusteer a leader in financial fraud prevention and what our enterprise customers are looking for us to deliver."
