Nimble Storage Expands Into Singapore, Upbeat on Prospects for Success and Strong Growth in the Storage Market

Storage Industry's Fastest Growing Company Opens Key Asia Pacific Office in Singapore and Continues Global Expansion

SINGAPORE -- (Marketwire) -- 01/22/13 -- Nimble Storage, the leading provider of flash-optimized, hybrid storage solutions, has announced the opening of its Singapore office as a strategic foundation for its expansion into the rest of Asia. Singapore will be the company's second office in the Asia Pacific region and is part of a targeted investment plan to expand operations as advances are made towards an IPO. The Singapore office opens ahead of plan, just four months after it opened its first APAC office in Sydney, Australia in September 2012.

Nimble Storage, which has the honour of being the storage industry's fastest growing company in history, is rapidly expanding into global markets that have high growth in data centre projects. Singapore is estimated to hold more than 50 per cent of the commercial carrier and carrier neutral data centre space in Southeast Asia, according to the country's Economic Development Board.

The Singapore office will be staffed by industry veterans Rachel Ler and Sathish Murthy. We are reaching the end of the beginning with WebRTC and real systems using this technology have begun to appear. One challenge that faces every WebRTC deployment (in some form or another) is identity management.
