CORONA, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/30/13 -- TrendPoint Systems, Inc., the industry-leading provider of power monitoring systems that maximize uptime and energy efficiency in data centers, today announced the appointment of Lisa Mandell as President and member of the board of directors. Mandell, who was formerly the Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the company, replaces Roger MacFarlane, who will remain with TrendPoint as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
With over 30 years of experience in high tech sales, marketing and strategic development, Mandell brings a wealth of industry knowledge and prowess to her new role. Prior to joining TrendPoint, Lisa ran the $2 billion Industry Application Solutions Outsourcing division at EDS, which created and executed global business plans for vertical application solutions. She also served as a senior executive at IBM, Xerox and Octel (now part of Lucent Technologies).
TrendPoint manufactures and sells high quality power meters that provide actionable information enabling customers to better manage power consumption, maximize uptime, and allocate energy costs in data centers. With Mandell's history of growing revenue for technology leaders of a similar size in the past, she was selected to draw on her expertise to accelerate TrendPoint's growth over the next several years.
