Faits marquants de 2012 chez IQMS

IQMS, développeur de MES et de logiciels PGI pour le secteur manufacturier, dont l'engagement proactif envers ses produits et ses partenaires reste constant, a annoncé aujourd'hui les faits marquants de son exercice 2012. Une année de développement dynamique dans presque toutes les activités de la société a permis à IQMS d'enregistrer sa onzième année consécutive de croissance à deux chiffres avec une croissance organique du chiffre d'affaires de 24 % par rapport à 2011.

IQMS s'est fortement axé sur le réinvestissement en 2012 en préparation d’un prochain exercice prometteur. En plus d'embaucher près de 50 nouveaux employés dans presque chaque département (une augmentation d'effectif de plus de 30 % depuis le mois de décembre), IQMS a entamé la construction d'une deuxième installation de près de 2 800 mètres carrés (30 000 pieds carrés) à proximité de son siège social mondial. Cette deuxième installation, dont l'inauguration est prévue pour l'automne de 2013, va en fait doubler l'espace dont dispose maintenant IQMS et permettre d'accueillir 120 nouveaux employés au cours des deux prochaines années.

En termes d'augmentation de clientèle, IQMS a enregistré en 2012 plus de 20 % de nouveaux clients provenant de presque tous les secteurs manufacturiers établis, mais aussi de certains secteurs émergents. Les secteurs médecine, emballage, automobile et électronique sont restés très actifs tandis qu'IQMS a développé de nouvelles relations importantes dans les secteurs de l'aérospatiale et du caoutchouc.

« Les fabricants sont de plus en plus attirés par les avantages que peut offrir un partenaire unique de développement interactif grâce à notre solution logicielle PGI optimisée et spécifique pour le secteur manufacturier », a déclaré Randy Flamm, président d'IQMS. « En 2012, nous nous sommes fortement concentrés sur la consolidation et l’investissement dans notre infrastructure interne afin de tirer parti de notre solution logicielle de pointe et de nous positionner au mieux pour un avenir prospère et passionnant ».

En plus de mettre l'accent sur le réinvestissement, IQMS a également renforcé son engagement envers ses clients. En mars, la société a lancé MyIQMS, une nouvelle expérience communautaire de collaboration offrant des outils de développement de logiciels, de soutien et de formation. En outre, en octobre IQMS a organisé son événement User Group (Groupe d’utilisateurs) le plus réussi à ce jour. Plus de 300 inscrits ont participé à trois intenses journées de réseautage, de formation et de collaboration.

Lors de cette conférence interactive, IQMS a présenté son premier Manufacturing Success Award (Prix de fabrication réussie) à son client Plastikos, Inc.. Sélectionné parmi des dizaines de candidats progressistes par un comité externe de juges experts dans leur secteur, le projet de Plastikos a démontré comment la collaboration et l'innovation peuvent conduire à l'excellence opérationnelle.

Plastikos, Inc. n'a pas été le seul client d'IQMS à recevoir des félicitations au cours de cette année riche en récompenses. Pour n'en citer que quelques-uns, trois clients d'IQMS ont été nommés lauréats Plastics News (Nouveautés dans le secteur du plastique), dont notamment Steinwall, Inc. qui a remporté le prestigieux prix Processor of the Year (Transformateur de l’année). Trois autres clients d'IQMS ont reçu des prix Manufacturing Leadership 100 (Leadership dans le secteur manufacturier), dont notamment Tessy Plastics Corp., qui a été nommé meilleur candidat dans la catégorie Operational Excellence (Excellence opérationnelle) devant ses concurrents IBM, Ford Motor Co. et L'Oréal USA. Quant à IQMS, la société a, pour la deuxième fois consécutive, amélioré son classement dans le Palmarès Inc. 5000 en décrochant le titre de fournisseur d'Aribex, Inc. lauréat d'un Medical Device Excellence Award (Prix de l’excellence pour les dispositifs médicaux). Enfin, le département Automatisation d'IQMS a remporté le prix de Product Development Team of the Year (Équipe de développement de produits de l’année) pour son dispositif RTStation, son module Shipping Manager et d'autres solutions de gestion d'atelier lancées en 2012.
