PITTSBURGH, Feb. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Sherpa Software has launched a new solutions-based strategy to better serve the company's expanding and ever-changing customer base. In addition to hiring new solutions managers and technical sales engineers, the company is also adding expertise through partnerships in the areas of complementary technology and information governance services.
Sherpa Software provides solutions for electronically stored information (ESI) management. Sherpa specializes in developing electronic content management software specifically addressing email management, compliance, e-discovery, PST management and email archiving for IBM Domino® and Microsoft Exchange® environments.
"Our customer base is growing and the solutions they are seeking continue to expand, requiring us to constantly look for ways to better serve those needs," said Kevin Ogrodnik, president of Sherpa Software. "In April we will launch Attender Online®, a hosted service that effectively manages a variety of electronically stored information. This is just one example of our focus on meeting the evolving needs of our customers."
Sherpa's intent is to combine products and services into solution packages that fall into three broad categories:
- Product Services represents consulting services designed to help customers understand all of the capabilities that a product offers and how they may be used to maximum advantage.
- Partner Services represents Sherpa working with business partners to package solutions for email migration and litigation preparedness, among other services.
- Point Services will integrate Sherpa technology into partner products to deliver an enhanced experience.
"Sherpa Software is evolving into a complete solutions provider for our customers in our specific areas of expertise," added Ogrodnik. "We provide customization, consulting, configuration, training and other services to ensure that we meet customer needs for archiving, e-discovery, and PST migration and management in a one-stop shop. Software tools like Attender Online and services like SMART migration and litigation profiles show Sherpa's commitment to customers and to innovating within the evolving market. A total solutions approach positions Sherpa as a true market leader."
