Despite all the hype, many businesses still have an uneasy relationship with the cloud and are reluctant to entrust SAP applications to cloud. Intrigued by the promise of speed, lower costs and greater flexibility, businesses are testing cloud services, especially for less critical and new "built for the cloud" workloads, but are still hesitant to make a strong commitment. With little IT support available, enterprises find it risky to consider cloud for their mission-critical systems, including SAP applications.
