SAN JOSE, Calif., March 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- iMOS (www.imos.me) announced today that a panel of 15 Auto Industry Experts, Educators, and End Users measured aesthetics, technological aspects, and user-friendliness and selected Tomball Ford as the #1 auto website in Texas. Cities that were selected are Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio as well as the other metros of Lubbock, Dumas, and Texarkana. The study was conducted by The Local Search Group.
"It means a lot to me to see our work acknowledged by this panel of experts," said Frank Balistreri, CEO. "It is one thing to study analytics and measure car sales and ROI, it is another to hear experts like our site; I am super proud of my design team."
Scott Wideman, Managing Director of Tropicaval Media, and Ben Keating, Principal of Tomball Ford, forged their relationship with Frank in February 2012 at the NADA Conference in Las Vegas. Shortly thereafter iMOS was brought on to redesign the websites for Tomball Ford and its partner stores on the AutoRevo web platform.
Lauren Balistreri, Creative Director in charge of the project, commented, "It has always been my objective to promote clean, user friendly design in the automotive industry. Being recognized for these qualities is a true compliment." Lauren also added, "We want our designs to focus on the customer's experience on the site, so we added things like a trivia page and made sure the navigation was simple—and now the top dealership website in TEXAS is pink, who would have thought?"
"Lauren, Frank, and the entire iMOS team did a great job building this and all our sites—keeping unique content fresh, and we are only at the beginning," said Scott Wideman and Ben Keating, Principals of Tomball Ford. "We wanted our dealership and our websites to stand out—we hired the right team for the job."
iMOS is a privately held Silicon Valley-based company. iMOS works with clients in the Auto Industry to create performance-based websites on a variety of development platforms, including Dealer.com, AutoRevo and several others.
Balistreri has performed User Interface design for Apple, IBM, Adobe, Oracle, SAP, Computer Associates, IBM and many other companies.
