NEW YORK, March 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Donna Raidt, VP, Director of Media Strategy at ID Media, an Interpublic Group media agency, will be speaking at Bizo's B2B Display Advertising "In the Raw" Digital Marketing Remixer, held today from 3-7 p.m. at the Grand Hyatt in New York City.
The event is the second in a roadshow series Bizo has kicked off to examine some of the biggest trends, issues and best practices surrounding business-to-business display advertising. The sector, which represents online display ad dollars spent by companies to reach target businesses and decision makers, is growing. Per Kantar, the top 50 b2b advertisers shelled out $3.96 billion on b2b ads in 2012, a 6.5 percent increase from 2010. Most of that growth (19.2 percent) came from Internet display advertising.
A 14-year media veteran, Donna brings significant expertise in digital marketing, which she honed from working at agencies like Ogilvy & Mather, McCann Erickson, and OMD over the years. At Ogilvy & Mather, a campaign her team developed for IBM won a Silver Effie. While a Partner, Group Planning Director at MindShare, she oversaw media strategy for some of the nation's biggest brands, including Burger King, Merrill Lynch and Novartis.
Donna's b2b expertise includes her work on brands such as Dell and CA Technologies.
"With proper setup and measurement, display advertising remains a vital strategy in the b2b marketplace. By leveraging innovations such as advanced data targeting and programmatic buying, agencies can deliver significant contributions and ROI to advertisers' marketing goals," she says.
Donna joins speakers including Joseph Leichman, Digital & Innovation Manager at Starcom MediaVest Group; Sam Karow, CEO of media performance and creative engagement company TheLiveAds; and Frannie Danzinger, Bizo's Director of Marketplace Development. Sean Callahan, editor of The Digital Marketing Remix, a media site owned by Bizo, will moderate the panel.
