DejaOffice and CamCard catapult Customer Relationship Management on Mobile Devices

Scan business cards and send Contact Records to Microsoft Outlook, IBM Notes, Act!, GoldMine, and Palm Desktop.

PORTLAND, Ore., July 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- DejaOffice® CRM and CamCard work together to scan business cards and integrate with Customer Relationship Management systems on phones, tablets, computers, and web-based apps.  Mobile professionals can scan cards using CamCard's app, which feeds the DejaOffice CRM mobile app that holds contacts, email addresses, phone numbers, and customer notes.  DejaOffice also synchronizes with productivity software and services like Microsoft® Outlook®, Google® Apps, Act!, GoldMine®, Palm Desktop, IBM® Notes, Infusionsoft®, Highrise, and many others.

"Documenting relationships when you are out of the office is now as easy as taking a picture with CamCard and DejaOffice," says Rushang Shah, Director of Marketing for CompanionLink Software. "Simply snap a picture of a business card and have it show up in your CRM system as a new Contact Record. Both CamCard and DejaOffice CRM work together to manage business records across mobile devices, Windows and Mac computers, and cloud services like Google and Outlook.com."

The CamCard app scans business cards directly to the DejaOffice account on the device. DejaOffice CRM works with the CompanionLink desktop product to synchronize with CRM systems.

DejaOffice CRM is available for free from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Synchronization with Contact Managers and CRM systems require CompanionLink's desktop product, available at http://www.companionlink.com starting at $14.95.

The current state of the art for Big Data analytics, as applied to network telemetry, offers new opportunities for improving and assuring operational integrity. In his session at @ThingsExpo, Jim Frey, Vice President of S...

The Internet of Things is clearly many things: data collection and analytics, wearables, Smart Grids and Smart Cities, the Industrial Internet, and more. Cool platforms like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Intel's Galileo and Edison, and a diverse world of sensors are making the IoT a great toy box for developers in all these areas. In this Power Panel at @ThingsExpo, moderated by Conference Chair Roger Strukhoff, panelists discussed what things are the most important, which will have the most profound e...
The Jevons Paradox suggests that when technological advances increase efficiency of a resource, it results in an overall increase in consumption. Writing on the increased use of coal as a result of technological improvements, 19th-century economist William Stanley Jevons found that these improvements led to the development of new ways to utilize coal. In his session at 19th Cloud Expo, Mark Thiele, Chief Strategy Officer for Apcera, compared the Jevons Paradox to modern-day enterprise IT, examin...
