Merkle Names Glenn Lapidus, Senior Vice President and General Manager, High Tech Practice

The appointment supports the aggressive growth initiatives the company has for this sector, whose year-to-date revenue has increased 33% in 2013 over 2012. In this role, Lapidus will focus on infusing Merkle’s unique approach to delivering Connected CRM™ solutions as an important enabler for the company’s technology clients looking to create competitive differentiation.

Glenn Lapidus is an experienced executive with more than 23 years of global consultative experience where he has driven business growth and executed strategic solutions for clients within telecommunication, technology, aerospace and manufacturing industries. Lapidus joins Merkle from IBM, a globally integrated technology and consulting company, where he spent 11 years in a variety of senior level positions. Most recently, Lapidus was the general manager of growth markets application services where he was responsible for driving accelerated growth within various IBM practices, leading strategy and execution for multiple global IBM brands in addition to transforming business results within growth market unit (GMU) application services. Prior to IBM, Lapidus held leadership roles with Archstone Consulting, Deloitte Consulting and McDonald’s Corporation.
