Watch This Important Context On IBM and Lenovo from @SiliconAngle

At this link and embedded below Dave Vellante of Silicon Angle leads a discussion with Stu Miniman and David Floyer on the $2.3 Billion purchase of IBM’s server business by Lenovo.

Dave, Stu and David are three of the most plugged in/truth seeking analysts in this space. They are always thinking and writing about these issues are are continuously in direct contact with decision makers in the enterprise market and also with leaders in the IT community. I really respect their views on topics like this.

What I’m wondering about now is the enterprises in government I work closely with. One in particular is a huge IBM shop and they are also a huge fan of American IT companies, and one of the reasons for that is security concerns. It will be interesting to watch how that agency reacts. And it will be interesting to watch others think through that issue as well. Will these agencies and organizations tend more towards HP and Dell now?
