iSIGN Media Announces Receipt of the Smart Player Prototypes

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 04/04/14 -- iSIGN Media Solutions Inc. ("iSIGN" or "Company") (TSX VENTURE: ISD)(OTCQX: ISDSF), a leading provider of interactive mobile advertising solutions that serves advertisers, manufacturers, retailers and advertising agencies throughout North America, today announced that its Smart Player prototypes were received on April 2, 2014.

iSIGN will be inserting software programmed to customers' specifications into the prototypes. Additional field testing will include weather tests to ensure that the unit functions perfectly within a range of -40 Celsius to +85 Celsius, digital signage content management, etc.

iSIGN's Smart Player is a first for the digital signage industry. It combines digital signage and mobile messaging with real-time measurement of shopper responses, delivered in a unique and exclusive cost-effective solution that distributes marketing messages to digital screens and mobile devices, mobile or stationary, simultaneously in preset proximity ranges to the unit's location. Addition, the Smart Player includes an option for wireless connectivity through iSIGN's partnerships with Verizon and TELUS in the United States and Canada.

The Smart Player combines the capabilities of the traditional digital player, the management and distribution of content and scheduling of advertising campaigns on digital signage, with all the features of iSIGN's proven and reliable Smart Antenna. iSIGN's Smart Player can be used in either an individual or networked digital signage environment. The Smart Player, as does the Smart Antenna, includes video and all graphics capabilities and more than doubles the mobile device outreach. The result of the increase in the ability to contact mobile devices is an estimated tripling of the data gathering ability of each device.

Each Smart Player can manage content on two digital signs, while managing and delivering messages to all mobiles devices within proximity to the unit. The Smart Player will gather customer interactions for real-time or future analysis.

iSIGN would also like to announce that it has confirmed with its manufacturer, that shipment of its previously announced build of 1,500 Smart Antennas will commence April 18, 2014. Upgrades in hardware and software, allowing for future point-of-sale connectivity was the cause of the slight delay in completion of the units.
