HOB to Exhibit at Common 2014 Annual Meeting and Exposition

This week HOB, a market leader in remote access solutions, will be exhibiting at the Common 2014 Annual Meeting and Exposition on May 4 – 7, 2014 in Orlando, Florida. At booth # 301, HOB will showcase the company’s two flagship products, HOB RD VPN and HOBLink J-Term, both of which enable the secure remote access to legacy systems like IBM System i and IBM System z.

Sponsored by HOB partner, IBM, Common 2014 is the largest power systems-related exposition in the world with nearly eighty exhibitors and four full days of in-depth IBM i, AIX, and Linux-related education sessions. It is the premier forum for both exhibitors and attendees, providing an environment where the latest products are displayed and pressing industry trends are discussed.

Because of its compatibility with IBM systems, HOB will show several live demos of products in its suite of remote access solutions including HOBLink J-Term, the web-to-any-server solution specifically developed to meet the increasing demands for flexibility. This software solution provides secure access to all legacy systems via a Java-enabled web browser. The user can access all the resources within legacy systems such as TN3270, TN5250, VT, HP700, S97801 or 9750 terminals, as well as Windows Terminal Server (via an RDP connection).

HOB will also show a live demo of the highly scalable and flexible software based solution, HOB RD VPN. This product accomplishes more than typical SSL VPNs and successfully balances the need for a high-performance VPN software solution. It allows convenient, yet highly secure, remote access to enterprise resources. By using HOB RD VPN, companies can decrease costs and administration effort, increase productivity, and enhance IT security. HOBLink J-Term can be included as function in the secure remote access suite HOB RD VPN.
