Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE : ARW) a annoncé aujourd’hui l’expansion globale et continue de son portefeuille de services en nuage avec l’addition de solutions de SoftLayer, une société IBM. Dans le cadre d’un nouvel accord de revente, Arrow distribuera les services en nuage de SoftLayer aux États-Unis, au Canada, en Europe, au Moyen-Orient et en Afrique.
Softlayer offre des avantages uniques aux clients cherchant une infrastructure très performante de services en nuage, y compris des serveurs « bare metal » (sans virtualisation) et des serveurs virtuels sur une plateforme offrant un réseau mondial transparent pour une performance, une souplesse et une gestion exceptionnelles.
« Cette nouvelle relation avec SoftLayer démontre l’engagement d’Arrow envers l’offre d’une agrégation à valeur ajoutée de services en nuage qui complètent nos offres de centres de données et s’alignent sur celles-ci », a déclaré Sean Kerins, président de la division internationale des solutions informatiques d’entreprise chez Arrow. « Nous anticipons avec intérêt de recruter des prestataires de solutions et de leur permettre de vendre les offres d’infrastructure en nuage de SoftLayer en associant nos services complets d’assistance ainsi que nos relations, notre expertise et nos offres concernant tant le matériel que les logiciels d’IBM ».

La plateforme modulaire ArrowSphere offre l’approvisionnement automatisé et la facturation intégrée pour les services en nuage des principaux prestataires de services, facilitant ainsi chaque jour les transactions avec plus de 500 clients. En plus d’ArrowSphere, Arrow permet le déploiement du canal sur le nuage en proposant des ateliers, des feuilles de route de transfert commercial et des outils pour établir et amplifier les pratiques en nuage.
