Accelatis Announces First Product that Enables Remote Management of Oracle Hyperion Infrastructure

Accelatis, provider of Application Performance Management (APM) solutions for enterprise software systems, today announced the first product that enables remote management of Oracle Hyperion software on mobile devices. An extension to the company’s flagship Accelatis Ascension Suite, Accelatis Mobile enables remote management of Oracle Hyperion EPM systems on smartphones, tablets, and other portable devices without requiring access via virtual desktop or other traditional approaches.

By accessing key functionality remotely from their mobile iOS, Android, or Windows devices, users of Accelatis Ascension Suite have convenient, quick, simple access to information on the performance of their Oracle Hyperion systems. In addition, they can now launch business and IT automation tasks remotely. There is no longer a need to log into a server to check on the status or run automation on their Hyperion systems.

“Part of our mission is to continually deliver better ways of managing Hyperion, and this is the latest example,” said Jonathan Berry, Accelatis founder and CEO. “Whether they are on the go or in the office, by extending Hyperion management to portable devices, we give managers the freedom to do their job anywhere, so they can spot and resolve problems before users are affected.”

Ascension Suite is the premier Oracle Hyperion Application Performance Monitoring and Infrastructure Management software application, and was built specifically to address the unique challenges of the Hyperion environment. Ascension Suite comprises a single solution for:

  • Infrastructure Management
  • Automation
  • Application Monitoring
  • System Monitoring
  • Performance Optimization
  • Load Generation
  • User Simulation

Ascension Suite helps monitor, manage and report at all levels of the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management environment, from IT/Infrastructure through Application Administration to solving problems that face the CFO. Ascension Suite works across the Oracle EPM application suite: Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Planning and Essbase; along with the associated products such as SmartView, Shared Services, Reports and Financial Data Quality Management.

Accelatis empowers EPM clients to operate at the most efficient level, allowing them to focus more on their business and less on managing their infrastructure. By taking a comprehensive approach to APM, Accelatis' clients benefit from the full cycle of product tuning, monitoring, issue resolution, optimization and user simulations. All these benefits work together to provide greater value than point solutions.

And now, Accelatis Mobile brings the ability to manage servers and services, view dashboards and performance reports, and run business and IT automation remotely.
