VAI Releases Mobile Capabilities for S2K Mobile Suite of ERP Applications

VAI (Vormittag Associates Inc.), a leading provider of ERP software, today announced the availability of three mobile applications that enable users to improve overall customer communication, increase inventory accuracy, and optimize operational efficiency. Included in VAI’s S2K Mobile suite of ERP products, the Order Entry and Route Sales applications are available on the Android and iOS platforms, with the Proof of Delivery application available on the Android platform.

The first application is S2K Mobile Order Entry, designed for both sales representatives building customer orders and customers entering their own orders. Real-time data syncing allows users to take orders regardless of Internet availability and allows for order transferring with VAI’s S2K ERP software. With S2K Mobile Order Entry, users can quickly and seamlessly search the customer base, view the complete product catalog and/or order guide for a given customer, select products in the basket, view price and gross profit, edit the price, and store and send an order. Bluetooth capabilities allow the application to also be used for mobile POS systems, trade shows and other off-site events that may require printers, scanners or credit card readers.

Sheralven Enterprise Ltd., a New York-based service sales, manufacturing and distribution company, is leveraging the S2K Mobile Order Entry application across its global sales team. The application provides the entire organization with a continual, live inventory view and as a result, has greatly improved the company’s order fill rate. Sheralven’s ever-changing inventory required a mobile software solution that would allow sales representatives to take orders while interacting with customers in real-time, offer alternatives for out-of-stock merchandise, and accommodate large order volumes.

The second application is S2K Mobile Proof of Delivery, which eliminates the need for costly and time-consuming paper processing and manual entry, as it automates the entire process in between a delivery truck’s warehouse departure and its return. The application also offers Google navigation, signature capture, payment collection and delivery receipt printing capabilities, amongst other features.

Similar to the Order Entry application, VAI’s third mobile ERP solution assists with Truck Route Sales Processing, and allows drivers to track and load inventory on their truck, build customer orders from truck inventory, and print customer receipts. As with all VAI mobile applications, no additional hardware is needed and an Internet connection is not required for use. The Route Sales application also allows for the creation of DSD routes and the ability to assign them to customers and drivers in order to build a schedule.
