The Dallas Tech-Security Conference is a unique event that brings together industry experts and technology providers. The Solarflare session is entitled "Defense in Depth: Re-enlisting the Host as the New Network Edge." In the session, Schweitzer will explain in detail how security professionals can -- at the server level -- filter, log, alert on, block, capture, and/or rate limit suspicious traffic in the kernel driver or in user space, limiting the impact attacks can have on host operating systems or application performance.

About Scott Schweitzer
Scott is the Sales Manager of OEM, Federal and Southeast of Solarflare. He is responsible for overseeing and driving sales and business development for cyber security market. He is a technology entrepreneur with a strong background in both hardware & software, combined with a unique talent for solution-based sales. Scott joined Solarflare in August 2013, to manage the relationship with IBM -- while driving 10 & 40GbE sales into the federal sector, and the southeast.
