Bowstreet Portlet Factory for Websphere Added to IBM Portlet Catalog

(May 14, 2003) - Bowstreet and IBM signed a reseller agreement today, in which IBM will resell Bowstreet Portlet Factory for WebSphere to accelerate the development of customized J2EE portlets for WebSphere Portal. "While Bowstreet has enjoyed a close partnership with IBM over the years, our new relationship dramatically expands the sales opportunities for Bowstreet, and provides IBM with a greater competitive advantage in the portal market," said Michael George, CEO, Bowstreet.

The agreement enables IBM’s worldwide sales organization to resell Bowstreet Portlet Factory in conjunction with WebSphere Portal. Kroger, one of the largest retail grocery chains in the United States, and the Wackenhut Corporation, one of the largest U.S.-based providers of security services, are two of the growing list of customers that are selecting Bowstreet Portlet Factory for WebSphere.

Bowstreet Portlet Factory for WebSphere extends the WebSphere Studio development tools by providing automation functionality that simplifies the development and maintenance of highly customized, dynamic portal applications.
